Degree Requirements

Students will interview and present portfolio or audition material for admission into the M.F.A. Students must complete a minimum of 45 semester hours in graduate courses, including

THEA 6323 - Dramaturgy for the 21st Century Credit Hours: 3.0
THEA 6362 - Dramatic Theory and Criticism Credit Hours: 3.0
THEA 6301 - Acting Credit Hours: 3.0 or
THEA 7141 - Graduate Directing/Designer Collaboration Credit Hours: 1.0

Note(s):

Course load will be determined based on the student’s track in either acting or design/production, and will be in conjunction with the ensemble they will join.
