IART 2300 - The Arts in HoustonCredit Hours: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Lab Contact Hours: 0 Prerequisite: ENGL 1302 . Description This is an interdisciplinary course exploring the languages and values of diverse artistic communities in Houston from early twentieth century to the present. In this course, students will develop an understanding of the artistic vibrancy of the city of Houston and learn how to collaborate across the arts disciplines.
